Panamanian
market is more than 3.4 millions habitants
With a memorandum publication
by the Public Services National Institution (Asep)
starts the licitation schedule for two mobile frequency
concessions, the remarkable Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim
shown interest in this contract.
At his moment, seven companies
have shown interest:: Digicel Caribbean(Jamaica), Orange (France),
MIC (Luxembourg),
Megafon (Rusia), América Móvil (México), Telecarrier (Panama)
and Cable Onda (Panama).
On March 12th, 2008, the offers
will be submitted and the winners of the Personal Cellular
Services (PCS) will be announced the same date.
